What to Know

After five games on the road, the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens are heading back home. Delaware and the William & Mary Tribe will face off in a Colonial battle at 7 p.m. ET Thursday at Bob Carpenter Center Acierno Arena. The Fightin' Blue Hens haven't won a game against William & Mary since March 10 of 2019, but they'll be looking to end the drought.

Delaware didn't have too much breathing room in their contest with the Northeastern Huskies on Monday, but they still walked away with an 82-76 win. Four players on Delaware scored in the double digits: forward Dylan Painter (20), forward Andrew Carr (18), guard Ebby Asamoah (16), and guard Kevin Anderson (13).

Meanwhile, a victory for William & Mary just wasn't in the stars on Monday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 91-69 to the Towson Tigers. The Tribe were surely aware of their 10.5-point disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result. Guard Yuri Covington wasn't much of a difference maker for William & Mary; Covington played for 31 minutes but put up just seven points on 3-for-10 shooting.

The Fightin' Blue Hens are the favorite in this one, with an expected 16.5-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a four-game streak of ATS wins.

Delaware's victory lifted them to 12-6 while William & Mary's loss dropped them down to 3-14. In Delaware's victory, Andrew Carr had 18 points and Kevin Anderson had 13 points and nine assists. We'll see if the Tribe have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
