What to Know

The The Citadel Bulldogs are 3-10 against the Mercer Bears since January of 2016, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Citadel's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mercer at 7 p.m. ET Dec. 29 at McAlister Field House. These two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

The Bulldogs were close but no cigar on Tuesday as they fell 77-74 to the Manhattan Jaspers. The contest was as close as the oddsmakers predicted, but The Citadel had been the slight favorite coming in.

Speaking of close games: it looks like Mercer must have gotten on Santa's naughty list since the squad didn't end up with the victory they were expected to receive on Wednesday.
