Who's Playing

Southeastern Baptist @ North Alabama

Current Records: Southeastern Baptist 0-1; North Alabama 6-4

What to Know

The Southeastern Baptist Chargers are on the road again Saturday and play against the North Alabama Lions at 3 p.m. ET Dec. 18 at Flowers Hall. Both teams were wiped off the court in their previous games and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 128-58, which was the final score in Southeastern Baptist's tilt against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions five weeks ago.

Meanwhile, a win for North Alabama just wasn't in the stars on Tuesday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. Their painful 70-44 loss to the Auburn Tigers might stick with them for a while. North Alabama was surely aware of their 29-point disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result. One thing holding North Alabama back was the mediocre play of guard Daniel Ortiz, who did not have his best game: he played for 26 minutes with 5-for-18 shooting.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
