The Northeastern Huskies will take on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies in a holiday battle at noon ET on Wednesday at Matthews Arena. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'

Northeastern entered their contest against the Davidson Wildcats last week without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. The Huskies took a 79-69 hit to the loss column. Despite the defeat, they got a solid performance out of guard Tyreek Scott-Grayson, who had 20 points and five assists in addition to six boards.

Meanwhile, a win for St. Bonaventure just wasn't in the stars this past Friday as the squad never even grasped a temporary lead. They were completely outmatched by the Virginia Tech Hokies and fell 86-49. Guard Jalen Adaway wasn't much of a difference maker for the Bonnies; Adaway finished with only five points on 1-for-11 shooting in his 33 minutes on the court.

Northeastern is now 6-5 while St. Bonaventure sits at 8-3.
