WATCH: UNC's Michael Jordan title-winner in 1982 gets claymated
The ACC Digital Network put together a claymation re-enactment of Michael Jordan's winning shot against Georgetown in the 1982 NCAA Tournament championship game.

Though there are several great stories worthy of consideration before March 29, 1982, many point to that evening in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans as the beginning of the Michael Jordan legend.
Jordan, then a freshman for Dean Smith's top-ranked North Carolina team, hit the winning shot against Patrick Ewing and Georgetown just seconds before James Worthy's steal on the ensuing possession closed out the 63-62 win. For Coach Smith, Worthy and the remaining pieces of the team that lost the previous year to Indiana in the title game, it was redemption. For Jordan, it was the precursor to National Player of the Year honors (1984), five NBA MVP awards and six NBA titles.
The ACC Digital Network recognized Tuesday as the 34th anniversary of Jordan's shot and honored it with this awesome claymation clip.
