Taysir Mack: Cut by 49ers
Mack was waived by San Francisco on Friday, Aug. 5, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Mack was signed by the 49ers as an undrafted free agent during this offseason but failed to retain a roster spot just over a week into camp. Over five college seasons, the 6-foot-2 receiver tallied 161 receptions, 2,369 yards and 12 touchdowns, playing for Indiana his freshman year and Pittsburgh the next four.
