The Packers worked out Davis on Tuesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
Davis sustained an ankle injury during Green Bay's training camp earlier this year, and he was later let go as a result of final roster cuts. Following the undrafted rookie's workout Tuesday, it's safe to say that he's moved past the ankle issue.

Danny Davis: Waived from IR
The Packers waived Davis (ankle) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Davis reverted to the Packers' injured reserve list after going unclaimed through waivers, but he'll now be free to join a new team once he clears his current ankle issue. The undrafted rookie wideout caught both of his targets for 45 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown, during his preseason debut but failed to make an impact during Green Bay's final exhibition game.

Davis (ankle) has reverted to the Packers' injured reserve, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Davis went unclaimed after the Packers waived/injured him Tuesday. As a result, he is now set to spend the remainder of the season on the IR unless both parties ultimately come to terms on an injury settlement.

Davis (ankle) was waived/injured by the Packers on Tuesday.
Davis was presumably a long shot to make the Packers' final roster after joining the team as an undrafted free agent this past May. He and the team came to terms on an injury settlement after he went unclaimed on waivers, so he will now be free to look for a new opportunity.

Packers' Danny Davis: Nursing ankle injury
Davis is dealing with an ankle injury, Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated reports.
The extent of the injury is unclear, and there's no timetable for Davis' return. He made a good first impression on Packers coaches by catching a 33-yard touchdown during Green Bay's preseason opener at San Francisco, but the rookie UDFA will likely need to make a quick recovery and show it wasn't a fluke to have a shot at making the initial 53-man roster.

Packers' Danny Davis: Finds paydirt in debut
Davis was targeted twice and caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in Friday's exhibition opener against the 49ers.
Davis made a nice adjustment on a pass from quarterback Jordan Love and scampered in for a 33-yard touchdown with under a minute to go in the first half. Davis made a mark in his first professional appearance, but he also played the fifth most snaps among Packers wideouts on a night where five receivers were held out. It will be tough for him to break camp on the active roster, but he has at least put himself in position to snag a practice squad spot.
