Dolphins' Nick DeLuca: Heading to Miami
DeLuca signed a contract with the Dolphins on Friday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
DeLuca played for the Jaguars last season, recording 12 total tackles, one sack and a forced fumble over nine games. The 24-year-old was waived by Jacksonville in mid-June, but he will now have an opportunity to make a roster for his second NFL season.

Nick DeLuca: Waived by Jags
DeLuca was let go by the Jaguars on Thursday.
DeLuca appeared in nine games for the Jaguars last season, logging 12 tackles (10 solo), one sack and a forced fumble. The North Dakota State product saw most of his time come on special teams, recording 164 special teams snaps to 76 snaps on defense. DeLuca may be limited to the same depth role if he's able to find another team before or during training camp in late July.

Jaguars' Nick DeLuca: Sees nine games in 2018
DeLuca had 12 tackles (10 solo), one sack and one forced fumble in nine games this season.
DeLuca was promoted from the Jaguars' practice squad in October and actually received a couple of starts toward the end of the season, though he saw only 46 defensive snaps between those two games. Still, it was a solid rookie campaign after he went undrafted out of North Dakota State last spring, as he's likely to push for a rotational role in 2019.

Jaguars' Nick DeLuca: Earns first career start
DeLuca will earn his first career start at strongside linebacker Sunday against the Redskins, John Reid of the Florida Times-Union reports.
DeLuca logged his first defensive snaps of the season last week against the Titans, collecting two solo tackles in the process. He'll draw the start at outside linebacker across from Telvin Smith with Lerentee McCray (illness) providing depth.

Jaguars' Nick DeLuca: Promoted from practice squad
DeLuca was signed to Jacksonville's active roster Monday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
DeLuca spent time with the Jaguars' during the preseason, and he now joins the 53-man roster following the release of running back Jamaal Charles. With Donald Payne (knee) expected to miss 3-4 weeks due to an MCL sprain, DeLuca provides Jacksonville with depth at the linebacker position.
