Zach Heins: Doesn't survive roster cuts
The Chargers waived Heins on Tuesday.
After going undrafted, the South Dakota State tight end signed as a free agent with the Chargers in April. Heins didn't accrue a catch until the Chargers' preseason finale against the Cowboys on Saturday, when he posted one reception for 11 yards. He'll explore his next options assuming he clears waivers.
