Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Won't be tendered
16h agoThe Packers aren't planning on tendering Wilson, so he will become a free agent, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson served as Josh Jacobs' backup at running back last season and tallied 496 yards and three touchdowns on 125 carries, adding 99 receiving yards on 15 catches over 17 regular-season games. He also worked part-time as a kick returner and logged 233 yards on nine kickoff returns. Wilson just finished his third campaign with Green Bay and entered the offseason as a restricted free agent, but the Packers' decision not to tender him means he'll be free to sign with any team.

Broncos' Ja'Quan McMillian: Set for second-round tender
21h agoThe Broncos intend to place a second-round, restricted free agent tender on McMillian, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Per Klis, the nickel cornerback's looming contract tender is slated to carry a $5.77 million value. The 25-year-old ball hawk is coming off a regular season which he recorded 56 tackles, including 4.0 sacks, nine defensed passes, including two picks (one pick-six) and two forced fumbles. McMillian earned $1.03 million with the Broncos in 2025.

Jaleel McLaughlin: Won't be tendered by Broncos
22h agoThe Broncos don't plan to offer McLaughlin a contract tender, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
As a result, the pending restricted free agent will be eligible to hit the open market, though Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post indicates that the Broncos are thought to be open to bringing the RB back. In eight regular-season contests with Denver in 2025, the 25-year-old carried 37 times (down from his career high 113 mark in 2024) for 187 yards and a TD, while adding four catches for 27 yards.

23h agoThe Packers don't plan to offer a contract tender to Anderson (ankle), Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Anderson, who had been a pending restricted free agent, is thus slated have an opportunity to catch on elsewhere this offseason. The 29-year-old reserve safety logged 15 tackles in 14 regular-season games with Green Bay in 2025, while making most of his mark on special teams.

George Pickens DAL WR
Cowboys' George Pickens: Officially tagged
1d agoThe Cowboys officially placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Pickens on Friday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
The transaction is confirmed by Patrik Walker of the team's official site. The non-exclusive franchise tag will allow Pickens to negotiate with other teams beginning with the start of the legal tampering period March 9, but it will also allow Dallas the right to match any offer extended to the breakout wide receiver. As with any franchise tag option, both sides will still have until mid-July to negotiate a potential multi-year deal, and Cowboys ownership has continually expressed a desire to keep Pickens around long-term. If no long-term extension is finalized, Pickens will be slated to play out the 2026 campaign on a fully guaranteed one-year, $28.8 million contract, per K.D. Drummond of USA Today.

2d agoClapp announced his retirement from the NFL on his Instagram account Thursday.
Clapp was a versatile offensive lineman throughout his eight-year career, most of which he spent with the Saints. He wasn't able to suit up in 2025 due to a foot injury that sent him to injured reserve before the season began. Overall, Clapp made 22 starts and 66 appearances through his playing career, and Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.football suggests that he could stick with the Saints as an assistant coach or other member of the coaching staff.

Angels' Josh Lowe: Sitting with oblique injury
16m agoManager Kurt Suzuki said Saturday that Lowe has been sidelined by an oblique injury for the past few days, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Lowe is no stranger to oblique issues, as they have forced him to spend time on the injured list in each of the past two seasons. Because of his history, the Angels will allow the 28-year-old to rest for a few more days as a precaution before giving him more reps in the Cactus League.

He's allowed nine runs one eight hits and two walks over 3.1 innings while allowing a .471 batting average. The veteran center produced his second double-double of the season, with the first coming Jan. 22 against the Warriors. Powell has struggled to get consistent court time even with Dereck Lively (foot) out for the season and Anthony Davis (finger) now in Washington, and Friday's 23 minutes represented his highest workload in February, and only the third time in eight appearances this month he even played double-digit minutes.

Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Game-time decision Saturday
7m agoTrail Blazers interim head coach Tiago Splitter told reporters that Clingan (illness) "felt better" but is still considered a game-time decision for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Owen O'Connor of SI.com reports.
Clingan will go through pregame shootaround, at which point the Trail Blazers' medical staff will have a better idea of whether the second-year center will be able to suit up for Saturday's matinee. Scoot Henderson entered the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Bulls and would likely remain in an elevated role if Clingan is not cleared to return.
