Colts' Camryn Bynum: Dominant in loss
6m agoBynum recorded seven tackles (five solo) and an interception during Indianapolis' loss to the 49ers on Monday.
Bynum had a strong performance despite the loss, leading the team in tackles while recording the team's only interception of Brock Purdy. The 27-year-old has now compiled 72 tackles (45 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and a career-high four interceptions across 15 games played.

Texans' Danielle Hunter: Secures sack in Week 16 win
6m agoHunter finished Sunday's 23-21 victory versus Las Vegas with three tackles, including 1.0 sacks.
Hunter's sack came midway through the fourth quarter, when he brought down Geno Smith for a nine-yard loss. It was the second straight game with a sack for the veteran linebacker and pushed him up to 13.0 sacks on the season. That's tied for third in the NFL behind only Myles Garrett (22) and Brian Burns (15).

Chargers' Tuli Tuipulotu: Adds to sack total in Week 16 win
13m agoTuipulotu registered four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and a fumble recovery during the Chargers' 34-17 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.
Tuipulotu got to Dak Prescott for a six-yard sack on the final play of the first half, and the former scooped up his first fumble of the season late in the fourth. Tuipulotu has accumulated 5.0 sacks across the four games since the Chargers' Week 12 bye, and his 13.0 sacks (across 15 regular-season games) are tied with Danielle Hunter for third most in the NFL behind Myles Garrett (22.0) and Brian Burns (15.0). Tuipulotu will look to add to his total against the Texans on Saturday, who are dealing with injuries to starting offensive tackles Aireontae Ersery (hand) and Trent Brown (knee).

Dolphins' Tyrel Dodson: Posts eighth stops in loss
14m agoDodson logged eight tackles (five solo) during Miami's loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Dodson finished second on the team in tackles behind Jordyn Brooks' 14 (nine solo) during the loss. The 27-year-old has already compiled a career-best 116 tackles (68 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and one interception across 14 outings, and he'll look to keep producing during the Week 17 matchup versus Tampa Bay.

Will Anderson Jr. HOU DE
Texans' Will Anderson: Sets career high in sacks
16m agoAnderson tallied two tackles, including 1.0 sacks, against Las Vegas in a 23-21 Week 16 win Sunday.
Anderson's sack came late in the second quarter and resulted in a nine-yard loss. It pushed him up to 11.5 sacks on the campaign, surpassing his previous regular-season career high of 11.0 sacks, which he established last year. Anderson had gone a season-high three games without a sack prior to taking down Geno Smith in the backfield Sunday.

20m agoPitre posted seven tackles (six solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 23-21 win against the Raiders.
Pitre tied for third on the Texans in stops in the narrow victory. After missing three games while in concussion protocol, Pitre has logged every defensive snap for Houston over the past four weeks. He's up to 66 tackles and 11 defensed passes, including four pickoffs, over 12 games this season.

Ryan O'Hearn SD 1B
Pirates' Ryan O'Hearn: Gets $29 million from Pirates
7h agoThe Pirates signed O'Hearn to a two-year, $29 million contract Tuesday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
He'll have the opportunity to stretch the total guarantee to $30 million if he reaches $500,000 in incentives each year of the deal. O'Hearn has slashed .277/.343/.445 over the last three regular seasons between the Orioles and Padres and made his first All-Star team in 2025. The left-handed hitter reversed a career trend and hit better versus lefties (.832 OPS) than righties (.795 OPS) in 2025, so he could be an everyday player in Pittsburgh. With Spencer Horwitz manning first base, O'Hearn will likely see most of his playing time at designated hitter.
-
Jacob Webb TEX RP
Cubs' Jacob Webb: Grabs MLB pact from Cubs
9h agoThe Cubs signed Webb to a one-year contract Tuesday that includes a club option for 2027, Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.
Webb was non-tendered by the Rangers last month even after posting a 3.00 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 58:19 K:BB across 66 innings during the 2025 season. The 32-year-old right-hander should fill a middle-relief role in the Cubs' bullpen.
-
Oddanier Mosqueda PIT RP
Pirates' Oddanier Mosqueda: Signs NRI deal with Pirates
9h agoThe Pirates signed Mosqueda to a minor-league contract Tuesday that includes an invitation to spring training.
Mosqueda pitched for Triple-A Memphis in the Cardinals organization in 2025, holding a 4.52 ERA and 68:31 K:BB over 65.2 innings. The left-handed reliever has yet to reach the big leagues but will compete for a roster spot in spring training.
-
Ryan Rolison CHW RP
White Sox's Ryan Rolison: Cleared from 40-man roster
10h agoThe White Sox designated Rolison for assignment Tuesday.
The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for Sean Newcomb, who was signed Tuesday. Rolison was a waiver claim of the White Sox earlier this month and will now be up for grabs on waivers again. He held a 7.02 ERA and 25:20 K:BB over 42.1 innings with the Rockies in 2025.
-
Sean Newcomb CHW RP
White Sox's Sean Newcomb: Inks one-year deal with White Sox
10h agoThe White Sox signed Newcomb (elbow) to a one-year, $4.5 million contract Tuesday.
Newcomb was terrific as a full-time reliever after being traded to the Athletics last season, collecting a 1.75 ERA and 50:14 K:BB over 51.1 innings. The left-hander will get an opportunity to start in Chicago, per Will Sammon of The Athletic, though he could eventually shift back to a relief role. Newcomb's 2025 campaign ended prematurely due to left elbow inflammation, but he should be ready to go for spring training.
-
Cole Young SEA SS
Mariners' Cole Young: Won't be blocked by outside add
12h agoYoung is expected to see the majority of playing time at second base for the Mariners in 2026 even if the team acquires a second baseman from outside the organization, Ken Rosenthal and Will Sammon of The Athletic report.
The Mariners remain very high on Young even after he had just a .607 OPS in 257 plate appearances during his rookie season. Young is just 22, but the Mariners appear committed to giving him some leash in the majors in 2026. It seemingly makes a trade for Ketel Marte unlikely, and if Brendan Donovan is acquired, he would be in line to see the bulk of his reps at a position other than second base.
-
Caris LeVert DET SG
Pistons' Caris LeVert: Available to face Sacramento
4m agoLeVert (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against Sacramento.
LeVert will shed his questionable tag due to bilateral knee soreness and suit up in his second game in as many days. Over his last five outings, the veteran guard has averaged 6.2 points, 2.8 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 21.0 minutes per contest.
-
Ron Holland DET SF
Pistons' Ronald Holland: Not playing Tuesday
5m agoHolland (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Sacramento.
Holland was downgraded from questionable to doubtful, and the second-year forward will end up missing a second straight game while dealing with left knee soreness. Isaiah Stewart, Javonte Green and Caris LeVert should all see elevated roles off the bench in Holland's absence. Holland's next opportunity to play is Friday against the Jazz.
-
Corey Kispert WAS SG
Wizards' Corey Kispert: Won't return Tuesday
8m agoKispert won't return to Tuesday's game against the Hornets due to left hamstring tightness, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post reports.
Kispert returned to action Tuesday after missing nearly a month due to a fractured right thumb, though he was unable to make it through the entirety of the contest. He'll finish with nine points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists and one rebound across 13 minutes. His next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Raptors.
-
Joel Embiid PHI C
76ers' Joel Embiid: Returns Tuesday
29m agoEmbiid (knee) returned to Tuesday's game against the Nets with 6:49 remaining in the third quarter, per the broadcast.
Embiid sustained an apparent right knee injury earlier in the quarter and briefly exited to the locker room. However, he returned to the bench shortly thereafter with wrapping on both knees, and it's a positive sign he was able to check back in after a short stint on the sidelines. He appears to be good to go for the remainder of the contest.
-
Jock Landale MEM C
Grizzlies' Jock Landale: Won't start Tuesday
38m agoLandale won't start against the Jazz on Tuesday.
Landale got the starting nod in Monday's loss to the Thunder but will come off the bench in favor of Santi Aldama on Tuesday. Landale has averaged 11.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals across 25.8 minutes per game in his last five outings off the bench.
-
Jonathan Isaac ORL PF
Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Green light to play Tuesday
38m agoIsaac (hip) is available for Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Isaac has recently been working through a left hip contusion, but the veteran forward has been cleared to play in Tuesday's road contest. In seven outings since Dec. 1, he has averaged 2.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.6 blocks over 10.9 minutes per game, but Isaac could take on a larger role against Portland due to the absences of Goga Bitadze (knee), Franz Wagner (ankle) and Tristan da Silva (shoulder.
-
Alexandre Texier MON LW
Canadiens' Alexandre Texier: Exits Tuesday's game
12m agoTexier (upper body) won't finish Tuesday's game versus the Bruins.
Texier was ruled out after the second intermission. If it's just a minor injury, he may not have to miss time. The holiday break means the Canadiens won't be in action again until Sunday versus the Lightning.

Anthony Mantha PIT RW
Penguins' Anthony Mantha: First goal in six games
12m agoMantha scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Mantha wired a one-timer early in the third period that tied the game 1-1. It was his first goal in six games (two assists). In 17 games since Nov. 16, Mantha has three goals, six assists and 32 shots, mostly as a second-line winger. Unfortunately, five of those nine points (one goal, four assists) came in just two games. There is no consistency to Mantha's game right now, so leave him on the wire.
-
Berkly Catton SEA C
Kraken's Berkly Catton: Activated Tuesday
14m agoCatton (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday.
Catton is off of injured reserve after missing two weeks due to the injury. The 19-year-old will be available to play Tuesday versus the Kings, but it's not readily apparent who will come out of the lineup to make space for him.
-
Rutger McGroarty PIT RW
Penguins' Rutger McGroarty: First goal in six games
24m agoMcGroarty scored a goal in a 6-3 win over Toronto on Tuesday.
McGroarty intercepted a Leafs clearing attempt and fired a quick shot over Joseph Woll's glove from above the right circle. The goalie didn't stand much of a chance. The goal cut the score to 3-2 in the second period. McGroarty is experiencing some growing pains in the NHL. It was his first goal in six games and second of the season (three points, 26 shots; 12 games). His fantasy future is intact, but he should be on the wire in redraft leagues.
-
Bryan Rust PIT RW
Penguins' Bryan Rust: Two points in last two games
35m agoRust scored a goal in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to Toronto.
Rust tied it 1-1 on a breakaway in the first period after taking a pass from Sidney Crosby in the neutral zone and scoring with a backhand past Joseph Woll's blocker. Rust has a point in each of his last two games (one goal, one assist) and 30 points, including 13 goals, and 88 shots in 34 games overall.

Pheonix Copley LA G
Kings' Pheonix Copley: Will start Tuesday
39m agoCopley will protect the home goal versus the Kraken on Tuesday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Copley will make his first NHL appearance of 2025-26 as the Kings play in the second half of a back-to-back. The 33-year-old will get a fairly easy assignment -- the Kraken have scored 14 goals over their last six contests and played Monday as well, earning a 3-1 win over the Ducks.
