    Thomas has been reinstated after serving a three-game suspension, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The 49ers waived Thomas from IR with an injury settlement in late August. Since then, the linebacker has been patiently awaiting reinstatement by the NFL. Thomas is free to join any team or practice squad and can now fully commit to any game-day action.
