Diamondbacks' Cody Hall: Optioned to Triple-A

Hall was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Hall was thought to have an outside chance to make the Opening Day roster, but it's certainly not a surprise that he'll begin the year at the Triple-A level. The 28-year-old, who was dealt to Arizona in January, posted a 3.46 ERA across 43 appearances at Triple-A Sacramento last season as a member of the Giants organization.
