Hall was released by the Marlins on Sunday, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
Hall hasn't pitched since June 29, and he'd struggled between the MLB and Triple-A before then. After playing with Triple-A Reno and Triple-A New Orleans, Hall owns a hefty 6.50 ERA and 1.78 WHIP. Batters enjoyed a .321 batting average with Hall on the mound, and his lack of control (K:BB of 14:7) hadn't done him any favors. If he gets signed by a club, he'll simply provide extra depth to the bullpen and will likely see little, if any, time in The Show.
