Diamondbacks' Kyle Amendt: Will miss 2026 season

Amendt underwent shoulder surgery Tuesday, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.

Amendt finished the 2025 campaign with a 3.03 ERA and 1.54 WHIP over 29.2 innings at Triple-A Reno. The 25-year-old righty won't get the chance to follow up his breakout season, however, as his shoulder procedure will force him to sit out the entire 2026 season.
