Giants' Steele Walker: Clears waivers

Walker cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Walker was designated for assignment Wednesday but will remain in Sacramento going forward. Over his first five games with Sacramento, he's gone 3-for-18 with a home run, a double, five RBI, a walk and five strikeouts.
