Rangers' Nick Snyder: Returns on minor-league deal

Snyder signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Friday.

Snyder pitched just one inning early in the season for Texas before spending the rest of last year in Triple-A Round Rock. The right-hander has always been adept at striking out batters at a high rate, but his command and control problems have kept him from putting it all together in the big leagues.
