Red Sox's Dalton Guthrie: Receives MiLB deal from Boston

Guthrie signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Guthrie has slashed .244/.393/.333 over 37 games in limited action with the Phillies during the previous two seasons. The 28-year-old has experience at every position other than first base and catcher, so he'll give the Red Sox some versatile depth.
