Rockies' Fernando Abad: Back with Rockies on minors deal

Abad re-signed with the Rockies on a minor-league contract Tuesday.

Abad elected free agency after being removed from the Rockies' 40-man roster earlier this month, but he's now back in the organization. He'll report to Triple-A Albuquerque where he'll serve as left-handed relief depth.
