Tigers' Jake Miller: Protected from Rule 5 Draft

The Tigers selected Miller's contract from Double-A Erie on Tuesday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Detroit is protecting the left-hander from being selected during the upcoming Rule 5 Draft. Miller spent most of 2025 on the injured list due to an undisclosed injury but was effective when available for Erie with a 2.12 ERA over 17 innings.
