Twins' Elliot Soto: Minor-league deal with Twins

Soto signed a minor-league contract with the Twins on Tuesday.

The 33 year-old infielder got added to Minnesota's 40-man roster in June but was designated for assignment a day later without appearing in a game. Soto is a glove-first player (81 wRC+ last year at Triple-A) whose upside is likely capped as a bench piece.
