Twins' John Gant: Lands on 10-day IL

Gant was placed on the 10-day injured list with a mild right groin strain Saturday.

Gant made his final start of the regular season Friday and allowed six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three in four innings to take the loss against the Royals. Although he'll finish the year on the injured list, he'll likely be ready for the start of spring training in 2022.
