Twins' Tzu-Wei Lin: Contract selected by Twins

Lin's contract was selected by the Twins on Friday.

Lin spent parts of four seasons as an infrequently used utility player for the Red Sox before joining the Twins on a minor-league deal in December. His .223/.298/.316 career slash line through 218 plate appearances at the highest level suggests he's best used in a bench role.
