The Dolphins will release Tagovailoa after the start of the new league year.

Per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, once the move occurs, Tagovailoa will be designated as a post June-1 release. The QB is due $54 million guaranteed for 2026, and considering offsets, Tagovailoa will be eligible to sign with another team for the league minimum after he's officially released. Tagovailoa -- who Miami selected fifth overall in the 2020 NFL Draft -- was benched for the team's final three games last year after tossing a career-high 15 interceptions (versus 20 TDs) in 14 regular-season games. The 28-year-old thus represents an option for franchises looking to add an experienced signal-caller to the mix at an affordable cost.

Ehlinger and the Broncos agreed on a one-year, $2 million contract Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Ehlinger will remain in Denver after serving as the team's No. 3 quarterback behind Bo Nix (ankle) and Jarrett Stidham in 2025, ultimately never appearing in a contest. The 27-year-old likely will operate in a similar role next year with both Nix and Stidham still under contract.

Huntley and the Ravens agreed to a two-year, $11 million contract Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

After rejoining the Ravens in October, Huntley served as the direct backup to Lamar Jackson most of the rest of last season, making five appearances (two starts) en route to completing 52 of 67 passes for 426 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions and rushing 24 times for 151 yards and no scores. With this new deal, Huntley will remain the No. 2 QB in Baltimore the next two campaigns.

DeVito signed a two-year, $7.4 million deal with the Patriots on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Only $2 million of DeVito's new contract is guaranteed, but he's now set to remain in New England after spending his 2025 campaign as the team's emergency third quarterback. The Illinois product appeared in 12 regular-season games with the Giants from 2023 to 2024, completing 145 of his 222 pass attempts for 1,358 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions. With Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs both under contract for the 2026 season, DeVito is expected to remain the Patriots' No. 3 QB.

Barring a trade, the Raiders will release Smith (ankle) prior to the start of the new league year March 11, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Smith, who is now entering his age-36 season, will depart Las Vegas after just one season with the team, as the Raiders are widely projected to select a new starting quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. After a resurgent three-year stint in Seattle from 2022-24, Smith's inaugural campaign with Las Vegas represented a significant decline, as he completed 67 percent of his passes for just 3,025 yards and a 19:17 TD:INT. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the Raiders have aggressively worked to manufacture a potential trade for Smith in recent days, but it's likelier the veteran signal-caller draws interest on the free-agent market than in a scenario where suitors have to part with draft capital to acquire him. Smith missed Week 18 due to an ankle issue but does not appear to still be dealing with any injury, given he's been the subject of trade talks.

Watson (Achilles) agreed to terms Friday on a restructured contract with the Browns that converts a portion of his $80.71 million cap hit for the 2026 season into bonuses, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Watson's restructure provides Cleveland with increased flexibility ahead of the start of the legal tampering period March 9. The 30-year-old quarterback is heading into the final year of the fully guaranteed five-year contract he inked with the Browns back in 2022, and Cabot reports that Watson is now back to full health after having undergone two surgeries to repair the right Achilles tendon he re-ruptured after the 2024 season. Cleveland general manager Andrew Berry recently named both Watson and Shedeur Sanders as candidates to compete for the team's starting quarterback job in 2026, per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.

The Cardinals and Conner (foot) agreed to a restructured contract Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

The details of the revisions are not yet public, but the move ensures that Conner will be in Arizona for the 2026 season. The veteran running back was limited to just three regular-season games in 2025 before suffering a foot injury in September that required season-ending surgery. Assuming he's healthy for the start of next season, Conner should operate as the Cardinals' RB1 while Trey Benson (knee) serves as the top backup option in the backfield.

The Chargers assigned Patterson a one-year exclusive rights free-agent tender Friday.

Patterson signed to the Chargers' practice squad in mid-October before joining the active roster in late November due to an ankle injury to Omarion Hampton. Patterson tallied eight or more carries in four of six regular-season games and finished with 41 carries for 159 yards and one touchdown along with three catches (on four targets) for eight yards. The Buffalo product will compete for a spot on the Chargers' 53-man roster for the 2026 season.

The Broncos have opted to tender Badie, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Badie played in 16 regular-season games last year and totaled eight carries for 23 yards. He was more active as a pass catcher, corralling 19 of 31 targets for 141 yards, and as a kick returner, racking up 452 yards on 17 attempts. Badie will likely serve as a backup again next season, though there could be room for his role to expand depending on what Denver does to build its RB corps during the offseason. J.K. Dobbins (foot) will be an unrestricted free agent and Jaleel McLaughlin wasn't tendered, so only RJ Harvey is clearly ahead of Badie in the pecking order among the team's ball carriers who are certain to return.

The Chargers placed an exclusive-rights free-agent tender on Vidal on Friday.

It essentially locks Vidal in for the 2026 season after he got extended run last season following injuries to both Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris (Achilles). With Harris headed for free agency, Vidal could enter next season as the RB2 to Hampton after Vidal posted a 155-643-3 rushing line across 13 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also added 16 catches for 136 yards and one additional touchdown.

The Texans released Mixon (foot) on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

This move was always coming after Houston traded for David Montgomery earlier in the week. Mixon missed the entirety of the 2025 season recovering from some sort of foot injury that neither the team nor player has discussed much through the media. It's unclear what kind of timeline Mixon is looking at in his recovery and return to the field. The move saves the Texans $8 million in cap space. Mixon will turn 30 years old in July and has lacked big-play ability in recent years. The two-time Pro Bowl selection has 7,428 career rushing yards and 60 touchdowns. His days of being an every-down back are likely over.

Singletary agreed to terms Friday on a restructured contract with the Giants, converting a portion of his base salary into bonus incentives, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Singletary had entered the offseason as a likely cut candidate, but his contract restructure makes it realistic for him to remain with New York for the 2026 campaign. That said, Cam Skattebo (ankle) and Tyrone Tracy figure to open the 2026 season above Singletary on the backfield depth chart, leaving him in the No. 3 backfield role. The 28-year-old carried the ball 118 times for 437 yards (3.7 YPC) and five touchdowns while playing all 17 regular-season contests in 2025, the least statistically efficient year of his career. He also secured 18 of 19 targets for 151 receiving yards.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that Evans will explore his options in free agency and may not return to the Buccaneers for the 2026 season.

Evans was selected by the Buccaneers in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has spent his entire professional career in Tampa Bay, where he posted 11 consecutive seasons of 1,000-plus receiving yards, earned six Pro Bowl selections and played a key role in the Buccaneers' Super Bowl LV run in 2020. Evans was limited to just eight regular-season games in 2025 due to a hamstring injury and broken collarbone. While he turns 33 before the start of the 2026 season, Evans will garner interest from several teams looking for a significant upgrade to their wide receiver corps.

The Commanders re-signed Burks to a one-year contract worth up to $4 million Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After some injury-plagued seasons in Tennessee, Burks signed with Washington back in October and appeared in eight regular-season games for the Commanders last season. He reeled in 10 of 22 targets for 130 yards and one touchdown on 60 percent of the offensive snaps across the second half of the season. The Commanders' wide-receiver depth chart is wide open behind Terry McLaurin, as Deebo Samuel is ticketed for free agency next week.

The Bills are in line to release Samuel, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Samuel was limited to seven catches in six 2025 regular-season games during his second campaign with the Bills. Now that Buffalo is moving on from Samuel -- who topped the 60-catch mark as recently as 2023 with the Commanders -- the 29-year-old will look to catch on elsewhere as a depth WR/return option.

Jefferson agreed to terms Friday on a contract restructure that frees up salary cap space for the Vikings, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Jefferson and left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) both agreed to restructures Friday, helping Minnesota achieve a more manageable salary cap situation ahead of the start of the legal tampering period on Monday. The star wide receiver, who will turn 27 in June, will likely spend the offseason focusing on building an increased rapport with quarterback J.J. McCarthy (hand), after the two struggled to get on the same page throughout the 2025 campaign. The Vikings have also been linked to numerous quarterbacks expected to be available in free agency as potential added competition for McCarthy.

Johnson and the Saints agreed to terms on a contract restructure Friday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Johnson's restructure converts part of his base salary into a signing bonus, freeing up $6.29 million in cap space for the team. The veteran tight end enjoyed a career year in head coach Kellen Moore's offense in 2025 and flashed reliable rapport with quarterback Tyler Shough, totaling a career-best 77-889-3 receiving line (103 targets) while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games. Looking ahead to the 2026 campaign, Johnson projects as a high-floor fantasy option and fair candidate to outperform his ADP.

Olszewski signed a one-year deal with the Giants on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The kick and punt returner will return to New York instead of hitting the free-agent market. Olszewski recorded 682 kickoff return yards and 216 punt return yards in in 16 regular-season contests in 2025. He also caught 10 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.

Adkins and the Broncos agreed on a one-year contract Sunday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Adkins will remain in Denver for a fourth season after having caught six of 11 targets for 48 yards and a touchdown over nine regular-season contests in 2025. The tight end likely will continue to have limited upside on offense next season, operating behind the likes of Evan Engram and Adam Trautman, the latter of whom inked a three-year deal with the Broncos on Sunday.

The Broncos re-signed Trautman to a three-year, $17 million contract Sunday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

A favorite of coach Sean Payton, Trautman has spent time with the head coach in New Orleans and Denver and logged 57 percent of the offensive snaps across 17 regular-season games last season. Trautman doesn't do much on the stat sheet but is a trusted blocker. He secured 20 of 23 targets for 195 yards and one touchdown during the 2025 campaign.

Kelce appears set to return for the 2026 campaign, and the Chiefs are in the mix to re-sign him, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.

Kelce is an impending free agent and has been considering whether to continue his career or retire this offseason. The four-time All-Pro spent the first 13 seasons of his career with the Chiefs, but it's unclear if he'll stay in Kansas City for his 14th season. Kelce racked up seven straight 1,000-yard seasons from 2016 to 2022, and he's totaled 1,674 yards and eight touchdowns while missing just one regular-season game over the last two years. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is recovering from surgery undergone in mid-December to repair ACL and LCL tears, so Kelce will likely be catching passes from someone else Week 1 if he remains with Kansas City in 2026.

Hockenson (shoulder) and the Vikings agreed to a restructured contract Saturday that lowers his cap number for the 2026 season by $5 million, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Minnesota continues to get closer to cap compliance with this move, getting Hockenson's league-high $21.3 million cap hit (among tight ends) down to a more palatable $16.3 million, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. Hockenson missed the final two games of the 2025 regular season due to a shoulder injury, finishing it with 51 catches (on 66 targets) for 438 yards and three touchdowns in 15 appearances. He and Josh Oliver (ankle) will continue to operate as the Vikings' top two tight ends in the upcoming campaign.

The Texans signed Schultz (calf) to a one-year, $12.6 million contract extension through the 2027 season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Schultz's contract now contains $17.6 million guaranteed after he set new career highs in targets (106) and catches (82) last season en route to 777 yards and three touchdowns. A reliable safety blanket over the middle for C.J. Stroud, Schultz should remain atop the Texans' depth chart at tight end next season.

Higbee and the Rams agreed on a two-year, $8 million contract Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Higbee will remain with the Rams after just completing his 10th campaign with the team, catching 25 of 36 targets for 281 yards and three touchdowns over 10 regular-season contests in 2025. The 33-year-old will look to compete with Colby Parkinson for the No. 1 role at tight end next season, though Los Angeles has proven to use multiple tight ends often in the past.

Grupe agreed to a one-year contract worth up to $1.4 million with the Colts on Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Grupe converted all 11 of his field-goal attempts and 10 PAT tries across the Colts' final five regular-season games last year. Indianapolis signed the 27-year-old from its practice squad after moving on from Michael Badgley in December. Grupe opened the season with the Saints but was waived in late November after he hit 18 of 26 field-goal tries over 11 appearances. He now will compete with Spencer Schrader for the Colts' starting kicker job this offseason, per James Boyd of The Athletic.

Ryland agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Cardinals on Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Ryland was slated to become a restricted free agent but will remain with the Cardinals after he suffered a down year in 2025, when he converted 25 of 33 field-goal attempts and all 36 of his PATs over 17 regular-season games. The 26-year-old hit 28 of his 32 field-goal tries over 13 contests in 2024. Arizona also signed Joshua Karty from the Rams' practice squad in December, and he'll likely compete with Ryland for the starting kicker job heading into the 2026 campaign, according to Darren Urban of the team's official site.

Pineiro and the 49ers agreed to a four-year, $17 million contract Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Pineiro took over for beleaguered kicker Jake Moody in San Francisco in Week 2 of the 2025 campaign and ended up connecting on 28 of 29 field-goal attempts and 34 of 38 point-after tries in 14 regular-season games. Pineiro's mark of 8.4 points per contest ranked fifth among NFL placekickers with at least that many appearances, and the 30-year-old now is locked in as the 49ers' kicker through 2029.

The Cowboys placed a second-round tender valued at $5.76 million on Aubrey on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The tender gives the Cowboys the opportunity to match an offer sheet that another team gives to Aubrey, otherwise Dallas would net a second-round pick. He has been one of the best kickers in the NFL for the past couple of seasons, and Todd Archer of ESPN reported in February that Aubrey is seeking a contract that exceeds the league-high $6.4 million average that Harrison Butker receives. Aubrey went 36-for-42 on field-goal attempts across 17 regular-season games in 2025, including 11-for-17 from 50-plus yards.

Sanders (hip) is in line to be released by Miami, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Sanders' release comes as no surprise, after he missed the entire 2025 campaign due to a hip injury suffered in training camp and Riley Patterson impressed in his stead as the Dolphins' starting kicker. Miami opened Sanders' practice window in Week 16, and though the team did not ultimately activate him from IR, it appears he's now healthy and ready to search for a new starting opportunity in the league. He converted a career-high 37 of 41 field-goal attempts (90 percent) while playing all 17 regular-season games in 2024, in addition to 26 of 28 extra-point tries.

Washington re-signed Moody to a one-year contract Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Moody was cut by both the 49ers and Bears in 2025 before landing with the Commanders, where he went 10-for-11 on field-goal tries and 10-for-11 on extra-point tries across the team's final six games of the 2025 season. Across three combined appearances between San Francisco and Chicago, he converted nine of 12 field-goal tries and all five of his PATs. Moody projects as the favorite to operate as Washington's starting kicker during the 2026 campaign, though the team could still add competition at the position this offseason.

The Packers are finalizing a deal to send Gary to the Cowboys, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per Schefter, the Cowboys are slated to exchange a 2027 fourth-round draft pick for Gary. Reports surfaced Friday that the 2019 first-rounder could be moved, and it appears as though that's about to happen. In 16 regular-season games in 2025, Gary recorded 45 tackles (25 solo), including 7.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one recovered fumble.

The Dolphins are slated to trade Fitzpatrick to the Jets in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

In 14 regular-season games with Miami last season, Fitzpatrick recorded 82 tackles (59 solo) and one interception. The addition of Fitzpatrick will bolster the Jets secondary ahead of the 2026 campaign, with the acquisition of the 29-year-old safety coming at an affordable cost to the franchise in terms of draft capital. Meanwhile, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus, Fitzpatrick is set to ink a three-year, $40 million deal with his new team in the wake of the trade.

Wilson and the Vikings agreed on a three-year, $22.5 million contract with $12.5 million fully guaranteed Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Wilson made his return to Minnesota in 2025 after leaving the team following the 2020 campaign. The linebacker stepped up his production with the Vikings, recording 115 total tackles (60 solo), which was his highest total since 2020, while also notching a career-high 6.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. As a result of the monster year, he now has been rewarded handsomely with a lucrative three-year deal.

The Bills traded Johnson and a 2026 seventh-round pick to the Raiders in return for a 2026 sixth-round pick Sunday, Vincent Bonsignore of the California Post reports.

Johnson was slated to be released by Buffalo ahead of the new league year, but the team was able find a last-minute trade partner. The cornerback is coming off of a 2025 campaign during which he compiled 57 total tackles (34 solo) and four passes defensed over 13 regular-season contests. Johnson now will compete for a starting role in the secondary with Las Vegas in 2026.

The Texans re-signed Jones to a one-year, $2 million contract Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Jones can earn an additional $500K via incentives. Houston claimed the 28-year-old defensive lineman off waivers from the Chargers back in December, and Jones appeared in the final four regular-season games in addition to both of the Texans' playoff contests. Jones figures to fill a rotational role along the defensive line.

The Rams signed McDuffie to a four-year, $124 million extension Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The deal contains $100 million guaranteed and makes McDuffie the NFL's highest-paid cornerback at $31 million per year. The Rams sent multiple draft picks, including the No. 29 overall pick in next month's draft, to the Chiefs last week in exchange for McDuffie, and Los Angeles now has committed big money to the 25-year-old. McDuffie will be tasked with keying the Rams secondary after it sprung leaks late last season.
