Tristin McCollum LV DB
Raiders' Tristin McCollum: Tendered by Las Vegas
5h agoThe Raiders placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on McCollum on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
McCollum will remain with the Raiders instead of hitting free agency, remaining in Las Vegas after he compiled 14 total tackles (11 solo) and a pass defensed over 16 regular-season games in 2025. The 26-year-old will likely compete for a top reserve spot behind Isaiah Pola-Mao and Jeremy Chinn (back) at safety in 2026.
-
Tremaine Edmunds CHI MLB
Tremaine Edmunds: Cut by Chicago
9h agoEdmunds was released by the Bears on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Edmunds was granted permission to seek a trade by the Bears on Feb. 25, but after no deal materialized, he will now hit the open market. The transaction will free up an additional $15 million in cap space for Chicago ahead of free agency, per Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com. The linebacker is coming off of a 2025 season in which he registered 112 total tackles (61 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding nine passes defensed, four of which were interceptions, and a fumble recovery over 13 regular-season contests. Edmunds has never finished with fewer than 102 total tackles in any of his eight professional seasons with the Bills and Bears, and he'll likely garner plenty of attention as a free agent.
-
Danielle Hunter HOU DE
Texans' Danielle Hunter: Inks massive contract extension
9h agoHunter and the Texans agreed on a one-year, $40.1 million contract extension Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Hunter is coming off of a 2025 campaign during which he compiled 54 total tackles (28 solo), including 15.0 sacks, while also recording three passes defensed, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery over 17 regular-season games. The defensive lineman has combined to produced 27.0 sacks over two years in Houston, and his new extension certainly reflects his value to the franchise. Look for Hunter to have another productive season in 2026 while starting opposite of Will Anderson on Houston's defensive line.
-
Will Putnam LV C
Raiders' Will Putnam: Returning to Las Vegas
9h agoThe Raiders re-signed Putnam on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The center was an exclusive rights free agent. Putnam suited up for 15 games, started two and played on 139 offensive snaps in 2025.
-
Marcelino McCrary-Ball NYJ LB
Jets' Marcelino McCrary-Ball: Returning to New York
9h agoThe Jets re-signed McCrary-Ball (hamstring) on Thursday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
The linebacker was an exclusive rights free agent. McCrary-Ball appeared in just five games for the Jets in 2025 due to a hamstring injury, though he did finish with a career-high 23 tackles (11 solo). He played on 106 defensive snaps last year after seeing just three in 2023 and '24 combined.
-
Tyler Higbee LAR TE
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Sticking around Los Angeles
10h agoHigbee and the Rams agreed on a two-year, $8 million contract Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Higbee will remain with the Rams after just completing his 10th campaign with the team, catching 25 of 36 targets for 281 yards and three touchdowns over 10 regular-season contests in 2025. The 33-year-old will look to compete with Colby Parkinson for the No. 1 role at tight end next season, though Los Angeles has proven to use multiple tight ends often in the past.
-
Aaron Rodgers PIT QB
Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: No timetable for decision
2d agoRodgers said Wednesday that he has not yet made a decision on his playing future and that the Steelers have not informed him of any timetable to make such a decision, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Rodgers expressed high praise for Pittsburgh and new head coach Mike McCarthy, but it does not appear that the 42-year-old veteran will make a decision about whether or not to play in the 2026 season prior to the start of free agency March 11. While the Steelers have expressed interest in re-signing Rodgers, other QB-needy teams around the league would also stand to be interested in his services, if available. Across 16 regular-season appearances in 2025, Rodgers completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
-
Connor Bazelak TB QB
Buccaneers' Connor Bazelak: Sticking with Tampa Bay
2d agoThe Buccaneers re-signed Bazelak to a one-year, $1 million contract on Wednesday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Bazelak spent the latter half of the 2025 campaign handling the emergency No. 3 quarterback role for Tampa By, working behind both Baker Mayfield and Teddy Bridgewater. While the former Bowling Green standout didn't actually record a single regular-season appearance as a rookie, his debut year as a pro was ultimately encouraging. Bridgewater is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but the Buccaneers will likely either re-sign the veteran or bring in another backup option behind Mayfield, leaving Bazelak to again compete for the third-string gig.
-
Dak Prescott DAL QB
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Clears up cap space
2d agoPrescott agreed to terms Wednesday on a restructured contract with the Cowboys, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Prescott and offensive lineman Tyler Smith's (knee) combined restructures free up $47 million in cap space for 2026, and Dallas is also expected to restructure CeeDee Lamb's deal. These restructures presumably involve converting future guarantees into signing bonuses. Prescott is entering his age-33 season fresh off a 2025 campaign in which he completed 67 percent of his passes for 4,552 yards and a 30:10 TD:INT, in addition to rushing 532 times for 177 yards and two scores. With the Cowboys having retained George Pickens for 2026 via the franchise tag and re-signed running back Javonte Williams (shoulder) to a three-year, $24 million deal, Prescott will benefit from significant continuity on offense in 2026.
-
Shedeur Sanders CLE QB
Browns' Shedeur Sanders: Part of competition
2d agoSanders will be among the candidates to start at quarterback for the Browns in 2026, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
General manager Andrew Berry indicated that Sanders and Deshaun Watson (ankle) will both be in the mix. The GM also indicated that more names could be added to the battle, suggesting Cleveland is open to either signing a free agent or using draft capital on the position. New head coach Todd Monken did not commit to starting Sanders when speaking at his introductory news conference.
-
Deshaun Watson CLE QB
Browns' Deshaun Watson: Among starter candidates
3d agoCleveland general manager Andrew Berry is not committing to naming a starting quarterback but included Watson (ankle) as a candidate, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Berry indicated Watson and Shedeur Sanders will be among those competing for the starting quartebrack job. There are likely to be other names in the mix, whether that be via trade, free agency or the draft. Neither Berry nor new head coach Todd Monken are in a rush to provide details.
-
Kyler Murray ARI QB
Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Posts goodbye to Arizona
3d agoMurray (foot) shared a goodbye message to the Cardinals organization on his personal social media accounts Tuesday.
The 28-year-old quarterback is expected to be released by Arizona. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the transaction will occur when the new league year starts March 11, barring the materialization of a last-minute trade. Murray's contract guarantees him $36.8 million in 2026, and were he to remain on the roster March 15, another $19.5 million in guarantees would trigger. Murray missed the final 12 games of 2025 due to a foot sprain, and though he played all 17 regular-season contests in 2024, he also missed a combined 15 regular-season games the two years prior. Despite that checkered injury history, the two-time Pro Bowler will likely be in high demand given the number of teams in need of a starting quarterback, and the lack of enticing options available in free agency or the draft.
-
Emari Demercado ARI RB
Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Will not be tendered as RFA
16h agoThe Cardinals will not tender an offer to restricted free agent Demercado prior to the start of the new league year next Wednesday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Arizona seemingly doesn't deem Demercado worth the value of the low RFA tender at $3.52 million. Demercado appeared in 13 regular-season games last season, rushing 44 times for 312 scoreless yards. He added 13 catches for 101 yards and one touchdown on 20 targets in the passing game. Demercado could still be brought back at a lower cost, but he'll be free to test the open market.
-
Sione Vaki DET RB
Lions' Sione Vaki: Could compete for No. 2 job
17h agoVaki could have an opportunity to compete for the No. 2 spot at running back with the Lions in 2026.
Vaki was scarcely used during the 2025 campaign, logging just two offensive snaps over 11 games, turning his only carry into a four-yard gain. With primary backup David Montgomery being dealt to the Texans on Monday, Vaki currently sits as the most experienced reserve option behind starter Jahmyr Gibbs in Detroit's backfield. The Lions will almost certainly bring in competition for the 2024 fourth-rounder in free agency or the 2026 NFL Draft, but he will have his clearest path toward playing time ahead of his third season with the Lions.
-
Sean Tucker TB RB
Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Set to hit free agency
18h agoTucker won't be tendered a contract by the Buccaneers as a restricted free agent, so he will become an unrestricted free agent when the new league year begins March 11, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Tucker had only 320 rushing yards in 2025 as part of a backfield that also included Bucky Irving and Rachaad White, but the 24-year-old running back out of Syracuse led the team with seven rushing touchdowns. Given Tucker's effectiveness in the red zone in 2025 after he averaged 6.2 yards per carry on 50 regular-season rushing attempts in 2024, he should garner some interest on the open market and could work his way into part of a backfield platoon depending on his landing spot.
-
Christopher Brooks GB RB
Packers' Chris Brooks: Inks two-year extension
2d agoBrooks agreed to terms Wednesday on a two-year, $4.85 million contract extension with the Packers, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Brooks operated as Green Bay's clear No. 3 running back across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025, logging 27 carries for 106 yards and 13 catches for 91 yards (17 targets) behind Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson. Jacobs remains under contract with the team and positioned for a workhorse role, while Wilson isn't expected to be tendered ahead of free agency. Pending further additions to the backfield, that leaves Brooks in position to potentially compete with 2024 third-rounder MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring), who spent all of 2025 on IR, for the No. 2 role behind Jacobs.
-
Kenneth Walker III SEA RB
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Franchise tag deadline passes
3d agoThe Seahawks officially did not extend Walker a franchise tag prior to Tuesday's deadline, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
Walker remains slated to hit free agency March 11, at the start of the new league year, unless he and Seattle are able to agree to terms on a long-term deal prior to that date. The Super Bowl MVP figures to garner significant interest on the open market, though with Zach Charbonnet (knee) recovering from an ACL tear suffered in January, the Seahawks may still be interested in bringing him back -- just not at the salary the franchise tag would mandate, as they also juggle potential extensions for Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Devon Witherspoon. Walker suited up for all 17 regular-season games in 2025 for the first time in his career, carrying the ball 221 times for 1,027 yards and five touchdowns with a 31-282-0 receiving line on 36 targets. Most notably, he averaged over 100 rushing yards across his three playoff appearances, reaching the end zone four times.
-
Breece Hall NYJ RB
Jets' Breece Hall: Officially gets non-exclusive tag
3d agoThe Jets officially placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Hall (knee) on Tuesday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
It was initially reported that New York would place the franchise tag on Hall, but the non-exclusive variation allows the running back to negotiate with other teams. The Jets will retain the right to match any offer and be entitled to two first-round picks as compensation from any team he signs with, a prohibitive enough cost to make any such deal unlikely. Still, Hall's ability to negotiate with other teams could open up trade possibilities in the event that he isn't able to reach terms on a long-term extension with the Jets by the July 15 deadline.
-
Gunner Olszewski NYG WR
Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Staying with Giants
11h agoOlszewski signed a one-year deal with the Giants on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The kick and punt returner will return to New York instead of hitting the free-agent market. Olszewski recorded 682 kickoff-return yards and 216 punt-return yards in 2025. He also caught 10 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.
-
DJ Moore CHI WR
Bills' DJ Moore: Getting traded to Buffalo
18h agoThe Bears agreed to trade Moore to the Bills on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Buffalo will send a second-round draft pick to Chicago in exchange for Moore and 2026 fifth-round pick.
Moore should instantly slot in as the top receiving option for Josh Allen under head coach Joe Brady. The veteran wide receiver had at least 1,157 receiving yards in both the 2020 and 2021 regular seasons with the Panthers, where Brady was the offensive coordinator at the time. Moore's 682 regular-season receiving yards with the Bears in 2025 marked the lowest total of his eight-year career, as he lost target share to recent draft picks Rome Odunze, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland (concussion). Khalil Shakir led the Bills in targets and receiving yards each of the past two regular seasons, compiling 148 catches for 1,540 receiving yards on 195 targets over that span.
-
Darnell Mooney ATL WR
Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Set to be released
20h agoThe Falcons are planning to release Mooney when the new league year begins March 11, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Mooney had just 32 catches for 443 yards and one touchdown in 15 appearances during a disappointing 2025 season. Releasing the 28-year-old wide receiver prior to the final year of his three-year, $39 million contract will save the Falcons $7.4 million in cap space. Mooney had 992 receiving yards over 16 games with Atlanta in the 2024, so he's likely to garner some interest once he hits the open market.
-
Jamari Thrash CLE WR
Browns' Jamari Thrash: Receives tender from Cleveland
1d agoThe Browns placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Thrash on Wednesday.
For the second straight season, Thrash appeared in nine regular-season contests during the 2025 campaign, finishing with 10 catches for 107 yards on 15 targets. With a new coaching staff in town for the Browns, Thrash will again need to compete for a job this summer.
-
Malachi Corley CLE WR
Browns' Malachi Corley: Tendered by Cleveland
1d agoCleveland placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Corley on Wednesday.
After being cut by the Jets following the preseason, Corley latched on with the Browns and appeared in 13 regular-season games last season. Corley logged 194 offensive snaps and caught 11 of 14 targets for 79 yards while adding 127 rushing yards on 13 carries. Corley will compete for a job under new coach Todd Monken this offseason.
-
Brycen Tremayne CAR WR
Panthers' Brycen Tremayne: Receives ERFA tender
1d agoThe Panthers placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Tremayne on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Tremayne will return to Carolina after securing 14 of 18 targets for 160 scoreless yards across 16 regular-season appearances during the 2025 campaign. In addition to his role as a depth wideout, Tremayne was a fixture on special teams for Carolina, logging 230 snaps in kick coverage.

-
Jelani Woods NYJ TE
Jets' Jelani Woods: Staying with Jets
11h agoWoods re-signed with the Jets on Thursday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
The tight end appeared in four regular-season games for New York last season, catching one pass for four yards. Woods spent the previous two seasons on injured reserve with the Colts due to hamstring and toe injuries.
-
Brenden Bates CLE TE
Browns' Brenden Bates: Receives ERFA tender
1d agoThe Browns placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Bates on Wednesday.
Bates appeared in nine regular-season games with the Texans and Browns last season, logging four catches for 48 yards on five targets. He'll compete for a job at tight end this offseason.
-
Jonnu Smith PIT TE
Jonnu Smith: Released by Pittsburgh
1d agoThe Steelers released Smith on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Following a career year with the Dolphins in 2024 in which he caught 88 of 111 targets for 884 yards and eight touchdowns, Smith was reunited with OC Arthur Smith in Pittsburgh via trade last offseason. Despite the familiarity, Smith found himself in a three- and four-way committee at tight end with the Steelers and never seemed to gel with Aaron Rodgers. Across 17 regular-season games, Smith caught just 38 of 54 targets for 222 yards and two scores. He'll likely be looking for a team with a less crowded depth chart. The move saves Pittsburgh $7 million against the salary cap.
-
Will Dissly LAC TE
Will Dissly: Let go by Chargers
2d agoThe Chargers released Dissly with a failed physical designation Wednesday.
Over his two seasons (playoffs included) with the Chargers, Dissly -- who turns 30 in July -- appeared in 26 games (including 11 starts), combining for 63 receptions for 594 yards and two touchdowns in that span. After catching 50 passes during the 2024 regular season, Dissly, who is evidently dealing with an unspecified injury, logged just 11 catches in nine outings in 2025, a trend that corresponded with rookie Oronde Gadsden establishing himself as Los Angles' top pass-catching tight end.
-
Quintin Morris JAC TE
Jaguars' Quintin Morris: Re-ups on one-year deal
2d agoMorris re-signed with the Jaguars on Wednesday to a one-year contract worth up to $3 million, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Morris made six catches for 55 yards and one touchdown (nine targets) across 14 regular-season appearances with Jacksonville in 2025, after having spent the prior three years handling a depth role in Buffalo. He will continue to primarily contribute as a blocker on offense during the 2026 campaign.
-
Jake Bates DET K
Lions' Jake Bates: Receives ERFA tender
1d agoThe Lions placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Bates on Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
While Bates wasn't nearly as effective in 2025 as he was as a 2024 rookie, he still converted 27 of 34 field-goal attempts and a league-high 54 PATs on 56 tries. Through two seasons, Bates has made 84 percent of his field-goal tries and 96 percent of his extra points. He figures to be busy again next season in Detroit's high-powered offense.
-
Andre Szmyt CLE K
Browns' Andre Szmyt: Tendered as ERFA
2d agoThe Browns extended Szmyt an exclusive rights free agent tender Wednesday.
Szmyt will return to Cleveland on a one-year deal for 2026, an unsurprising transaction after his solid 2025 campaign with the team. Across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025, Szmyt converted 24 of 27 field-goal attempts and 25 of 26 on extra-point tries. He projects to reprise his role as the Browns' top placekicker in 2026, though unless the team's offense can take a notable step forward under new head coach Todd Monken, it will be difficult for Szmyt to see the type of scoring opportunities required to be a difference-maker for fantasy purposes.
-
Nick Folk NYJ K
Jets' Nick Folk: Will play in 2026
2d agoFolk announced he intends to play in 2026, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Folk will return for another NFL season after converting 28 of 29 field-goal attempts and all 22 of his extra-point tries across 16 games with the Jets last year. The 41-year-old is set to become a free agent once the new league year begins and will be one of the top options available at kicker.
-
Harrison Mevis LAR K
Rams' Harrison Mevis: Gets tender from Los Angeles
3d agoThe Rams tendered Mevis on Monday.
Mevis was lined up to be an exclusive rights free agent, but it's no surprise the Rams decided to tender him, which will prevent him from being able to negotiate with other teams. The undrafted kicker out of Missouri latched on with Los Angeles' practice squad in November last year and eventually earned his way to a role as the team's starting kicker. He debuted Week 10 against San Francisco and finished the regular season having converted 12 of 13 field-goal tries and all 39 of his point-after attempts. Mevis then went 6-for-6 on FG tries and 9-for-9 on PATs in the postseason, all but assuring that he'll enter training camp as the frontrunner for the team's kicking job in 2026.
-
Brandon Aubrey DAL K
Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Seeks new contract with Cowboys
9d agoThe Cowboys have reportedly offered Aubrey a deal for more than Harrison Butker's league-high $6.4 million average per season, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.
Per the report, the Cowboys and Aubrey's agent Todd France are in agreement that the 30-year-old should be the highest-paid kicker in the NFL, but the team's reported offer falls short of the $10 million per season that France is said to be seeking. Aubrey is on track to become a restricted free agent next month, with Archer relaying that Cowboys are likely to place the second-round tender (at a cost of close to $5.8 million) on the Notre Dame product, who made 36 of his 42 field-goal attempts during the 2025 regular season en route to racking up a fantasy-friendly 155 points (third among NFL kickers).
-
Jason Myers SEA K
Seahawks' Jason Myers: Fantastic showing in Super Bowl
25d agoMyers connected on all five field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Myers accounted for the Seahawks' first 12 points of the game, and he finished with 17 total points. The 34-year-old kicker completed a perfect postseason, drilling all eight field-goal attempts and 11 extra-point tries through three playoff games. Myers was dependable during the regular season, too, making 85 percent of his field goals and every extra point. He's heading into the final year of his contract but could be an extension candidate as the Seahawks look to retain their title in 2026.
