Jordan was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Monday for a conditioning stint.
The move comes after Jordan was a healthy scratch for the Hurricanes' last 12 games and having last played on Nov. 16. Brett Pesce and Noah Hanifin seem to have solidified their spots on the Carolina blueline, leaving Jordan on the outside looking in.
