Islanders' Henrik Tikkanen: Earns AHL shutout

Tikkanen posted a 32-save shutout in AHL Bridgeport's 4-0 win over Hartford on Wednesday.

Tikkanen has gotten to play more regularly while Marcus Hogberg is away from Bridgeport to provide the Islanders with depth at the NHL level. Tikkanen is up to 5-2-1 with a 2.57 GAA and an .898 save percentage over eight contests this season. This was his second career AHL shutout.
