Whether Ronda Rousey will show up in a WWE ring again after making her presence felt at WrestleMania 31 is unknown, but if she does wish to go head-to-head with a professional wrestler -- in the square circle or the octagon -- “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair knows the perfect opponent … his own daughter.

“Charlotte’s not afraid to get in there,” said Flair of his 29-year-old daughter, a former women’s champion in WWE’s NXT developmental division, in a lengthy interview with WrestlingNews.com.

Flair is not trying to diminish Rousey, not in the least. In fact, he has great respect for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, saying she is a “fantastic” athlete and he is a big fan of her work.

“In all fairness, if [my daughter] had a year to train, I’m not saying [she] would win by any means,” Flair continued, “but if she had a year to get ready for it, it wouldn’t end in Round 1. I’ll predict that. It wouldn’t be [a] 14-second tap out.”

Charlotte Flair is three inches taller and 10 pounds heavier than Rousey, though a tale of the tape is hardly needed between two women who will probably never square off in a fight.

In fact, Charlotte has not even made her debut on the WWE’s main roster despite showing tremendous promise on the NXT programs. Her father, obviously, has taken notice to that fact.

“My daughter is the best athlete in the company … man or woman. She’s been ready for six months,” he said. “I get it, it’s a political game and it’s structured and everybody’s got something going on. The company’s got agendas and they have things they have to figure out. The last important thing [for them] is trying to figure out my daughter’s goals.

“For me, it’s everything in life. [Triple H]’s my best friend and I trust him. Vince McMahon and I are very close … I trust him. Stephanie [McMahon] and I are close. I believe that they’ll always take care of [Charlotte]. Not because they need to take care of her, because she’s the best. It’s just a matter of dining the right position for her.”
