It looks like Tiger Woods was going to use Nike clubs at the Safeway Open
There have been rumors swirling that Woods was planning to jump ship to a different company
When Tiger Woods presumably tees it up at the Hero World Challenge in December, nobody knows what clubs he will be using. With Nike out of the club business, everything is on the table. Woods' dining room apparently looks like a golf club store, and there have been rumors that he might go back to Mizuno, which is what he used when he won the 1997 Masters.
What we do know, however, is that if Woods had played in the Safeway Open this week instead of backing out, it looks as if he was going to play his old Nike sticks.
This photo which was captured by a Snapchat user that goes by the name "blbco02," was posted this week. According to the Snapchat user, it was taken at Spyglass Hill, which is where Woods was on Monday.

It seems rather easy to put together the Ryder Cup clubhead covers, the Tiger driver cover, the Nike kicks in the back and the personalized bag. If that's a forgery of Tiger's stuff, it's a world-class effort.
So it seems as if Woods is sticking with Nike gear for now, although as Woods' agent Mark Steinberg has expressed in the past, change is certainly coming.
"Clearly he and I need to be thinking about a change on the hard goods side,"Steinberg told GolfChannel.com. "He and I have discussed at length the plan for that and feel comfortable with what we're going to do going forward. But clearly, there's likely to be a change."
