Athletics option reliever Angel Castro on Tuesday

The Athletics optioned reliever Angel Castro to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday to clear a roster spot for Sean Doolittle, who came off the 15-day disabled list.

Castro went 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in four relief appearances. He had three strikeouts and three walks in three innings.
