Mariners designated hitter Jesus Montero won't play for the rest of the season, according to the Seattle Times.
Montero was involved in an incident in the minors Thursday night. He was supposed to begin a rehab assignment, but has been pulled from that assignment due to an altercation with a team employee. General manager Jack Zduriencik said Montero's season was over. The club's main focus is to get Montero to work out his personal issues.
