Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager went 2 for 3 with a walk, two home runs and five RBI in his team's 5-3 win over the Astros Wednesday.
Seager kicked off the scoring for his team with a two-run home run in the seventh inning, which was his first blast of the season. He came back to the plate with two men on and one out in the ninth inning with his team down one and ended the game with his second homer of the day. Seager has been struggling at the plate this season, hitting just .179/.304/.328 in 67 at-bats, but perhaps his heroics Wednesday will give him the jolt he needs to get on a hot streak.
