Vladimir Guerrero doesn't appear ready to hang it up. The 37-year-old will play winter ball in the Dominican Republic, his new team, Licey, announced on Twitter on Monday.

Guerrero last played in the big leagues in 2011, hitting .290/.317/.416 with 13 home runs in 145 games for the Orioles. He signed a minor-league deal with the Blue Jays in May and hit .358/.364/.679 with four home runs in 12 minor-league games before asking for his release.

Guerrero will be 38 in February. If he is to come back, he'll likely only be offered a minor-league deal. He has also seen the last of the field for his big-league career and would be limited to DH duty.

It's doubtful Guerrero will ever add to his 449 career home runs in the majors, but at least some will still get to watch him play.
