After a historically short offseason, the 2020-21 NBA season promises to be one of the most unique in league history. From the shortened 72-game schedule to the lack of fans in arenas to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, everything about the season promises to be different. One thing will surely remain the same from previous seasons, though, and that's the fact that every team will be hoping to make a deep playoff run, and ultimately win a championship. The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to defend their title, while the rest of the field will be trying to knock them off. As such, plenty of action, excitement, and intrigue can be expected.
