Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis on having cornrows as a kid: 'Girls loved it'
As a little kid, Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis had cornrows mainly because "girls loved it."
We've all made youthful mistakes. However, if you think New York Knicks rookie Kristaps Porizingis' decision to have cornrows from ages 10 to 13 was a mistake, you would be dead wrong.
The Latvian sports program Sporta Studija (via Posting and Toasting), recently talked with Porzingis' youth coach for their show. While talking about the Knicks rookie, the coach showed pictures of a young Porzinigis with cornrows.
