LeBron James calls Tim Duncan the 'greatest' power forward ever
LeBron James thinks very highly of Tim Duncan.
Having played against Tim Duncan on numerous occasions throughout his career, most notable the NBA Finals in 2007, 2013 and 2014 NBA Finals, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James is well acquainted with the San Antonio Spurs forward's greatness.
At 39, Duncan is nearing the end of his career which could mean that James won't be facing off against the Spurs foward for much longer. Which is why after James' Cavs lost to the Spurs on Thursday, he posted a lengthy message on Instagram that paid homage to Duncan.

While you could say that Karl Malone is the greatest power forward ever, it is hard not to put Duncan in that same upper echelon. James is also speaking from his own experience and has also played against Duncan for his whole career, while Malone retired the year after LeBron was drafted.
Duncan's accolades (five championships and two MVPs) are arguably second to none at the position. Plus, Duncan has been seemingly nearing the end of his career for the last several seasons but is still playing at high level and is one of the better big man defenders in the NBA.
No matter where you rank Duncan in NBA history, this is a very cool gesture by James. Especially since it came after a loss to the Spurs.
