The 2008 Celtics had a bit of a reunion Monday night with Kevin Garnett, and while it was mostly fun and games, the group also discussed their standoff with Ray Allen, who was notably absent.

The future Hall of Famer has not had a good relationship with his former Celtics teammates ever since leaving Boston to join LeBron James and the Miami Heat in 2012.

Garnett, Paul Pierce and Co. discussed the issue, reaching the consensus that it wasn't as much the fact Allen left, but the manner in which he departed that bothered them. Kendrick Perkins said it was up to Allen to break the ice if he wanted to jump start the relationship.

It doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon, judging by Allen's social media post Tuesday morning. True Twitter followers know Allen no longer uses that platform, but he is still active on Facebook, and his latest post clearly was a shot at these ex-teammates.

"The power to push limits," Allen wrote, above a picture of him elbowing his way past Rajon Rondo, with whom he was feuding before even leaving for the Heat.

Who could have thought in 2008 after they won the championship, that one day Allen would use Facebook to talk smack to Rondo and the rest of the Celtics.

God bless the NBA.
