Nets vs. Lakers: James Harden hits Talen Horton-Tucker below the belt
As Harden attempted to create space, Horton-Tucker suffered the brunt of the contact

Brooklyn Nets star James Harden doesn't appear to be in the Christmas spirit. During Saturday's win against the Los Angeles Lakers, Harden was attempting to create separation between himself and Lakers guard Talen Horton-Tucker early in the fourth quarter.
However, when Harden attempted to do so, he ended up elbowing Horton-Tucker below the belt. Needless to say, Horton-Tucker collapsed in the court in a reasonable amount of agony.

Luckily for Horton-Tucker, he was able to continue playing. As for Harden, he was slapped with a flagrant 1 foul for his actions and Horton-Tucker ended up connecting on both of his free throws following Harden's physical play.
The play seemed to turn the tide for the Lakers in the fourth quarter. At the time of the incident, the Nets held a 107-92 lead, but the Lakers responded with a 9-0 run that was highlighted by the foul call and a 3-pointer from Malik Monk.
It's been no secret that Harden attempts to create space between himself and defenders by any means necessary. However, on this particular occasion, Harden attempted to do a little bit too much and the officiating crew wasn't having it.
