Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Logs 14 points in OT victory
Horton-Tucker recorded 14 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and three steals in 21 minutes during Saturday's 118-113 overtime victory over Portland.
Subpar play caused Horton-Tucker to lose his starting gig in early November, and his struggles continued from the bench. HIs 14 points in the OT win snapped a single-digit scoring slump where he averaged only 5.5 points over six games. His good fortune is likely brief, as his production will fall upon Jordan Clarkson's (thigh) return.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Limited results off bench
Horton-Tucker had five points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and one assist in 14 minutes during Wednesday's 121-105 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Horton-Tucker posted a fairly well-rounded stat line during Tuesday's blowout loss to the Lakers, but he was held in check a day later with one of his worst fantasy performances of the season. Over his seven appearances since taking on a bench role, he's averaged 9.7 points, 3.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Plays well in loss to Suns
Horton-Tucker registered 25 points (9-18 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals across 29 minutes during Sunday's 140-137 double-overtime loss to the Suns.
Horton-Tucker needed a performance like this in the worst way, as his fantasy trajectory was heading down prior to Sunday. In his previous three appearances, Horton-Tucker averaged a mere 8.6 points, 3.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game. Keyonte George wasn't at his best Sunday, but it still seems like the coaching staff is comfortable rolling with him as the starter moving forward.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Scores nine in loss
Horton-Tucker provided nine points (2-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block in 19 minutes during Friday's 131-128 loss to the Suns.
Horton-Tucker was on the bench for a fourth consecutive game Friday, but he managed to contribute in a few different areas in the narrow loss. He's unsurprisingly seen a slight reduction in playing time since taking on a bench role, averaging 8.0 points, 3.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per game.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Coming off bench Wednesday
Horton-Tucker isn't starting Wednesday's game against Indiana, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Horton-Tucker started the first eight games of the season but has had inconsistent results, averaging 10.1 points, 5.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 24.5 minutes per game. He'll take on a bench role Wednesday while Keyonte George makes his first career start.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Struggles with shot Saturday
Horton-Tucker produced 14 points (6-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 24 minutes during Saturday's 123-95 loss to Minnesota.
Horton-Tucker scored in double digits in back-to-back contests for the first time this season, but the shooting woes plagued him, and he almost disappeared from the game after the second quarter. Horton-Tucker has shown the ability to fill the stat sheet regularly, but the next step for him is to develop consistency on a game-to-game basis. That would go a long way toward boosting his fantasy upside.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Remains wildly inconsistent
Horton-Tucker ended Thursday's 115-113 loss to the Magic with 15 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds, eight assists, one block and three steals in 31 minutes.
Horton-Tucker ended just two assists away from reaching his first double-double and tied his season-high mark in dimes. He also scored in double digits after delivering a subpar display in his previous outing against the Grizzlies, when he produced just nine points across 23 minutes Nov. 1. Horton-Tucker has mixed double-digit and single-digit scoring performances, and while he has proven to be a player who can fill the stat sheet on a given night, he needs to be more consistent as a scoring weapon in order to maximize his fantasy upside.

Horton-Tucker supplied 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds and eight assists over 29 minutes during Monday's 110-102 loss to the Nuggets.
Horton-Tucker led Utah in assists while recording only one turnover. He also exceeded 10 points for the first time this season after entering Monday's contest shooting just 26.9 percent from the field. He seemingly has a comfortable edge over Collin Sexton for playing time.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Continues shooting slump
Horton-Tucker provided four points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one assist and one steal across 16 minutes during Saturday's 126-104 loss to Phoenix.
Horton-Tucker has started the season averaging 7.3 points per game on 26.9 percent shooting. He also saw his workload drop down to 16 minutes against the Suns and played just three minutes in the second half due to foul trouble and a large deficit. Horton-Tucker will look to turn things around Monday against the defending champion Nuggets.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Solid numbers in Friday's win
Horton-Tucker racked up 10 points (3-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, eight assists, one block and three steals in 27 minutes during Friday's 120-118 win over the Clippers.
The 22-year-old guard led the Jazz in assists while also being very active on the defensive end, leaving scoring duties to Lauri Markkanen and the Utah frontcourt. Horton-Tucker isn't expected to provide a lot of offense, but his 4-for-9 shooting from three-point range to begin the season is encouraging, and he should easily top last season's career-high 3.8 assists per game if he maintains his current role as the team's starting point guard.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Scores team-high 26 points
Horton-Tucker notched 26 points (10-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 31 minutes in Thursday's 116-113 preseason loss to the Kings.
Horton-Tucker has always been a player who can make a massive two-way impact and performances such as Thursday's one back that notion up. However, he has yet to deliver these numbers on a consistent basis during the regular season. He's slated to open the 2023-24 campaign as a starter in the backcourt alongside Jordan Clarkson, so he'll have another shot to see if he can reach his potential while holding an expanded role.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Excellent against LAC
Horton-Tucker posted 24 points (9-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds and seven assists across 25 minutes in Tuesday's 103-98 preseason loss to the Clippers.
Horton-Tucker emerged as a reliable bench alternative for the Jazz during the 2022-23 season and averaged a career-best 10.7 points per game, though he also chipped in with 3.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 0.6 steals per contest. Horton-Tucker could find himself as a regular starter in 2023-24, but it wouldn't be shocking if he heads back to a bench role if he has a slow start.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Scores 13 points with 13 shots
Horton-Tucker notched 13 points (5-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), six rebounds and an assist across 21 minutes in Sunday's 101-96 preseason win over the Clippers.
Horton-Tucker was one of four players who scored in double digits for the Jazz, and he was also active on the glass. He appeared in 65 games last year, averaging 10.7 points, 3.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per contest. Horton-Tucker figures to have a similar bench role again this season.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Returning to Utah for 2023-24
Horton-Tucker opted into his $11 million player for 2023-24 on Tuesday, Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reports.
Horton-Tucker averaged 10.7 points, 3.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 20.2 minutes across 65 games in 2022-23. While he did struggle with efficiency, posting 41.9/28.6/75.0 shooting splits, he still figures to be a rotation piece for Utah in 2023-24. Despite going into his fifth NBA season, Horton-Tucker is still only 22 and fits the Jazz's youth movement.
