Through 3 Quarters
Only one more quarter stands between the Miami Heat and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the San Antonio Spurs 88-66.
The top scorer for Miami has been small forward Jimmy Butler (17 points). One thing to keep an eye out for is DeWayne Dedmon's foul situation as he currently sits at five.
San Antonio has been led by shooting guard Derrick White, who so far has 22 points in addition to four rebounds.
This is the least points the Spurs have had yet this season going into the fourth quarter.

What to Know
The Miami Heat's road trip will continue as they head to AT&T Center at 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday to face off against the San Antonio Spurs. These two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
It was close but no cigar for Miami as they fell 110-106 to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Heat, who fell 124-120 when the teams previously met last month. A silver lining for them was the play of center Bam Adebayo, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds.
Speaking of close games: San Antonio was close but no cigar on Tuesday as they fell 124-120 to the Golden State Warriors. San Antonio was up 104-89 at the end of the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead. San Antonio's defeat came about despite a quality game from point guard Dejounte Murray, who had 27 points and nine assists in addition to nine boards.
Miami is now 32-20 while San Antonio sits at 19-33. A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Heat are stumbling into the matchup with the third most fouls per game in the league, having accrued 20.5 on average. To make matters even worse for Miami, the Spurs come into the game boasting the second fewest fouls per game in the league at 17.7. Keep an eye on whether or not foul trouble puts Miami in a difficult position.
