Steph laughs off shoe criticism, wanted to wear Curry 2s in Game 4

The Internet had a field day on Thursday, roasting Under Armour and Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry for his new all-white signature sneakers, the Curry 2s. Officially called the "Chef Curry" Curry 2 Low shoes, the sneakers look very nondescript and people just could not stop making fun of them.
The hate and jokes were so plentiful and visceral that Curry himself caught wind of how relentlessly mocked his sneakers became. And unsurprisingly, Curry stands by his shoes and said if they were in his bag, he would've worn them in Game 4.
"If I had them in my road bag, I definitely would have worn them," Curry said. "Shown how fire they are. I love the nicknames though that they came up with but I like 'em."
With a response like that, it would only be fitting if Curry wears the shoes in Game 5. And if the Warriors are able to beat the Cavaliers and win their second straight championship, then those shoes will perhaps become even more special in Curry's mind.
