WATCH: Monta Ellis wants absolutely nothing to do with LeBron's vicious dunk
The Pacers guard cleared the way for the dunk of the night, and Twitter mocked him mercilessly
Sometimes LeBron James just has "one of those games" and there's really nothing you can do about it.
He certainly had a night to remember during Thursday's Game 3 between the Cavaliers and Pacers, and Monta Ellis knew better than to get in his way.
As LeBron was bringing the Cavs back from a 26-point deficit, he got the ball on a two-on-one fast break. Kyle Korver ran to the corner and Ellis, the lone defender, had to choose between heading to the corner to cover Korver or sticking with LeBron and trying to make a play on the ball.
Normally the defender is taught to stay with the ball, but ... you know ... LeBron. Teague cleared the way, making room for one of the best dunks of the playoffs so far.

Ellis was roasted by social media (rightfully so), but he likely had the memory of Tristan Thompson being posterized by Myles Turner earlier in the game fresh on his mind.

Monta Ellis will say he was going out to cover Kyle Korver's corner three, but we all know he was just getting out of dodge. #NBAPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/OeBmIJZLvB

Is Monta Ellis in the Shaqtin' a Fool Hall of Fame yet? If not, this game should make him a 1st ballot lock.

Oh, Monta ... looks like you'll be going down as a Pacers legend after all.
Adding insult to injury is the fact that the Cavs came back to win the game, 119-114, while James finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists.
Things are looking pretty bleak in Indiana, facing a 3-0 deficit to the defending champs.
