Cowboys reach out to Anthony Spencer, Jason Hatcher

The Cowboys reached out to defensive end Anthony Spencer and defensive tackle Jason Hatcher in an effort to re-sign the unrestricted free agents, reports the Dallas Morning News. Part of that effort could include releasing end DeMarcus Ware or getting him to take a massive pay cut, the report said.

Without making a move with Ware, the Cowboys simply cannot afford to seriously pursue Spencer or Hatcher.
