Paul Lasike: Released by Bears
Lasike was released by the Bears on Thursday.
Lasike signed with Chicago midway through last season and wound up playing in 10 games for the team. He didn't have much fantasy value, however, as he had just three rushes for eight yards on the year. He'll have a chance to catch on with another team as a special teams player and blocker in 2017.

Paul Lasike: Released by Bears
Lasike was released by the Bears on Tuesday, Brad Briggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Lasike saw his snap count drop from 14 in Week 1 to five in Week 2. He ran the ball once for two yards and was dealing with a wrist injury throughout the first two weeks of the season. A team looking to shore up their fullback situation is all he can hope for right now.

Bears' Paul Lasike: Active for Week 1
Lasike (wrist) is active for Sunday's Week 1 tilt with the Texans, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
A wrist injury kept Lasike limited in practice all week, but he'll be able to take the field whenever the Bears opt to go with two-back setups. He primarily serves as a lead blocker for Jeremy Langford, so don't expect Lasike to get many touches in the opener.

Bears' Paul Lasike: Questionable for Sunday
The Bears have listed Lasike (wrist) as questionable for Sunday's tilt with the Texans.
Lasike has been limited in practice all week as he has been dealing with a wrist injury. The 26-year-old is the lone fullback on the Bears roster, so if he cannot go it could potentially limit the Bears' formation options.

Bears' Paul Lasike: Limited participant Wednesday
Lasike (wrist) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Lasike is battling a wrist injury, and given his limited status, he should be considered questionable until he can put in a full practice. Lasike is currently the lone fullback listed on the Bears' depthchart
