WATCH: Senators' Erik Karlsson levels Nathan Beaulieu with huge hit
Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson had a chance to hit the Montreal Canadiens' Nathan Beaulieu and he more than delivered.

Erik Karlsson has been a one-man wrecking crew for the Ottawa Senators on Sunday night.
Not only is he up to his usual tricks offensively and helping to dictate the pace of the game, but he is also making his presence felt physically with a couple of huge hits.
None were bigger than this crushing open ice hit on Montreal's Nathan Beaulieu midway through the second period.

Hits do not get much better than that as it looks to be perfectly timed and a completely legal shoulder to shoulder hit.
Karlsson is one of the best players in the league and through two periods on Sunday he has been at his very best, playing what might be one of the best games of his career on a night when his team needs it the most.
Along with a couple of hits and some slick plays with the puck, he also helped set up Clarke MacArthur's first period goal that gave Ottawa a 1-0 lead.
