Conor Allen: Dropped from PTO with Red Wings
Allen was released from his professional tryout agreement with the Red Wings on Thursday.
Allen wasn't given much of a chance, as he failed to draw into any preseason games with the Winged Wheel. Allen should be able to assist in that venture as a physical depth defenseman, albeit with only two years of NHL experience.
