WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed lay waste to Roman Reigns and Jey Uso
Breakker and Reed brutalized Reigns and Uso ahead of their SummerSlam tag match

With SummerSlam less than a week away, WWE brought Raw to Detroit on Monday night. The main event between Jey Uso and Bronson Reed was little more than a set-up by Reed, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman, however, as the group delivered a brutal message ahead of their tag match with Uso and Roman Reigns on Saturday.
Reed and Breakker executed a plan that saw them close the show with a brutal assault on Uso and Reigns. After laying waste to Uso and Reigns, Breakker yelled at his fallen foes that they own every part of WWE now, even going so far as to have Reed take the shoes from Reigns' feet.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Breakker and Reed lay waste to Reigns and Uso
After the Hulk Hogan tribute at the top of the show, Jey Uso came to the ring ready to cut a promo about his main event match with Bronson Reed. Before Uso could speak, Paul Heyman interrupted. Heyman asked Uso why he would stand by Roman Reigns at SummerSlam because family always lets you down. Heyman ran through examples of how Uso's family had lied to him, ruining Santa Claus for many kids in the audience and watching at home in the process. Uso responded that he always pulls up for his family and that whatever happens to Reed and Bron Breakker at SummerSlam will be on Heyman's head.
Jey Uso def. Bronson Reed via disqualification after interference from Breakker. Earlier in the night, Breakker said he had a plan and the pair executed it perfectly. As Reed and Breakker attacked Uso, Roman Reigns' music hit, and he was able to briefly turn the tables before Breakker hit him with a spear. From there, Uso and Reigns ate more spears from Breakker and Tsunamis from Reed. The assault finished with Breakker spearing both Uso and Reigns through the ringside barricade before Reed stole Reigns' shoes as the pair claimed everything in WWE belonged to them.
Sure seems like Reigns should have been at ringside from the jump, huh? This was a strong way to close the show and send this match to SummerSlam. Breakker and Reed couldn't go into the match getting trounced by Reigns yet again. Instead, they were allowed to show a scary level of dominance and leave Reigns looking more vulnerable than he has looked in years. It doesn't seem like there's much doubt that Reigns and Uso win on Saturday, but a bit of spice got added to the mix on Monday night. Grade: B+
