WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Seth Rollins stops CM Punk from qualifying for Money in the Bank

Seth Rollins does not have to worry about CM Punk winning Money in the Bank, but he might have a bigger target on his back. Rollins and company spoiled Punk's plans and put the main event on notice during Monday's WWE Raw.

The collective power of Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman proved too mighty for Raw's biggest stars. Not only did Punk fail to qualify for Money in the Bank because of them, but they flattened Uso five days before a big tag team match against John Cena, and a week from defending the world heavyweight title against Gunther.

Raw also featured the final qualifier in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match and the continued feud between women's intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rollins and company crush Punk's plans and Uso's body

Punk kicked off Raw, musing about his Money in the Bank qualifying match later that night. Punk, a two-time Money in the Bank winner, looked forward to holding the briefcase again and ushering in a new Summer of Punk. "The Best in the World" turned his attention to world heavyweight champion Uso and undisputed WWE champion Cena. Punk assured it was strictly business if he went after his friend Uso. Cena, however, is a different story. Punk claimed to have Cena's number and looked forward to taking the title off him after Cena sold his soul to The Rock.

Etner Sami Zayn. Punk's ally told him not to worry about Breakker and Reed, with whom Zayn and Uso had a tag team match scheduled. Zayn said Punk needed to win his qualifying match tonight and stop Rollins from winning Money in the Bank.

Backstage, Heyman, Rollins' advisor, propositioned AJ Styles, the latter of whom would face Punk and El Grande Americano in the qualifier match. Heyman asked Styles to prioritize neutralizing Punk. In exchange, Heyman would pull strings to get Styles an intercontinental title match against Dominik Mysterio. Heyman called it a gift on the day of Styles' 48th birthday. Styles, distrusting of Heyman, rejected the offer.

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn def. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed via disqualification after Seth Rollins attacked Uso. Post-match, CM Punk saved his allies with a steel chair, hurling it in Reed's face. Rollins' faction retreated, but boasted about knowing where to find Punk later tonight.

El Grande Americano def. AJ Styles and CM Punk via pinfall. Punk and Styles wisely asked the referee to check Americano for the steel plate he places under his mask. The official obliged, even though triple-threat matches have no disqualification stipulations. Each superstar had their moment, with Punk notably trying to tear Americano's mask off.

"We want Truth" chants broke out during the main event, and during many other segments throughout the night, referencing his recent WWE release

Styles and Americano nearly won with a Styles Clash and moonsault, respectively, but the count was broken each time. Punk had the match won after hitting Americano with a GTS. Unfortunately, Breakker yanked him out of the ring. A brawl broke out ringside between Punk, Breaker, Reed, Uso and Zayn. Styles kept his focus on the match until Reed inadvertently bumped into him. Styles wiped out the field ringside with a springboard splash. Styles turned his attention back to the ring, but Americano intercepted his phenomenal forearm with a steel plate headbutt. Americano covered Styles for the win.

Post-match, Rollins and his collective laid out Punk, Zayn and Uso. The world heavyweight champion got the worst of it, absorbing a curb stomp and two Tsunami splashes. Before the main event, Gunther warned Uso that he was spreading himself too thin by getting involved in Punk and Zayn's battle. "The Ring General" was right.

This feud works not only because of the talent involved, but because it feels alive. What started primarily as an issue between Rollins and Punk has now enveloped the world title picture and the Money in the Bank ladder match. The many moving parts make it exciting, and the main event was a solid bonus. Grade: A-
