Five-star freshman Josh Jackson scored 14 points in 19 minutes of Kansas' 92-74 win over Washburn in an exhibition game played Tuesday night inside Allen Fieldhouse.

Frank Mason got 21 points.

Svi Mykhailiuk finished with 16 points off the bench.

Jackson was the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2016, according to 247 Sports. He's a 6-foot-8 wing who is the first consensus top-ranked recruit to enroll at Kansas since Andrew Wiggins. The Jayhawks are ranked third in the CBS Sports Preseason Top 25 (and one) and the favorites to win a 13th straight Big 12 title. Their next exhibition is Sunday against Emporia State. They open the regular season next Friday against Indiana.

"I was a little nervous for my first time out," Jackson said. "I talked to a couple guys in the locker room and the coaching staff to gather my head a little bit. I tried to be more aggressive [in the second half]."
