Dalvin Cook highlights: FSU may have lost, but its best player was insane
The Seminoles running back had a huge game in the team's loss
Florida State fell to Clemson 37-34 on Saturday night in Tallahassee, but it certainly wasn't because Dalvin Cook didn't do everything he could to get the win for the Noles.
Cook finished the game with 169 yards on 19 carries, and scored four touchdowns. While all four of them were important, the two biggest ones came in the second half.
First there was the 43-yard scamper to give Florida State the lead, which you can view at the top of the post ...
... then he followed that one with a 70-yard touchdown in which he turned on the after-burners.
Cook had two other touchdowns in the game, a four-yard run in the second quarter and eight-yard scamper in the fourth that put Florida State up 34-29 with 3:23 to play after Clemson had fought back to retake the lead.
Had Florida State been able to hold on and win the game following Cook's big runs, he'd likely be right back in the Heisman Trophy race. Unfortunately, with Florida State now 5-3 on the season, it's hard to envision Cook getting serious consideration unless he puts up a bunch more four-touchdown performances.
