Auburn quarterback Sean White was taken to the locker room during the second quarter of Monday night's Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma. His arm was evaluated, X-rays were taken and according to 247Sports Brandon Marcello (speaking to White's father), White suffered a broken arm on the first drive of the game and kept playing.

White completed only 4 of his 10 pass attempts, with a couple of wounded ducks before he was pulled and evaluated.

John Franklin III entered the game and took over for White. Franklin went 2 for 4 through the air and picked up 9 yards on two runs before halftime. He is expected to start the second half.
